This summer, PPAI Product Responsibility Manager Tim Brown, MAS, has been on the road to deliver the Association’s Product Safety Awareness (PSA) program to industry regional associations and updating and educating their members on the latest product safety and regulatory news.
Over the past few weeks, Brown has met with members of the Tri-State Promotional Professionals Association (TSPPA), the Ohio Promotional Products Association (OPPA) and the Gold Coast Promotional Products Association (GCPPA).
“TSPPA members were delighted with the product safety sessions offered by PPAI ‘s Tim Brown at the TSPPA Tailgate Tradeshow this month,” says Tom Elsbernd, TSPPA executive director. “The sessions are a must for all promotional product practitioners as they were informative and understandable. Tim made a not-so-glamorous subject easy to absorb while also being very enjoyable.”
Brown will join the Promotional Products Association of Chicago on September 18 for PSA training sessions that will earn attendees all four credits for PSA status. Brown and PPAI Director of Public Affairs Anne Lardner-Stone have scheduled more meetings with regional associations throughout the year.
